I slept through it, staggered up at 6a.m. to make the tea, and found a couple of things off shelves - and a mouse trapped in an empty milk-jug on my microwave.
I almost didn't survive that!
It looks probable that it was shaken off the base of the cupboard above (or it came in as a refugee. I didn't think I had any.)
Oop North in Manchester, it woke me up: a pile of board games fell off the bookshelf in my bedroom and woke me and Toby (Jack Russell). I think it was the quake itself that woke me, but the falling boxes that freaked us.
